For decades, scientists have debated the cause and effect of Louisiana ’s land loss, conducting study after countless study. But, research cannot save Louisiana or its Cajun culture.
It’s estimated we have ten years left - at best… ten years before coastal Louisiana is lost forever.
By partnering with a non-profit organization committed to saving the coast, Tide of Tears can make a dramatic difference. Unlike other documentaries, Tide of Tears encourages viewers to be part of the solution either through monetary donations or voluntary services.
The goal is to create a movement to restore the coast… a campaign on an unprecedented scale… a nationwide crusade funded by corporate sponsors, endorsed by churches and environmental groups, supported by lawmakers from every state, and carried out by volunteers from around the country.
Tide of Tears is more than a project. It’s a commitment to the Cajun people… a pledge to restore the land they love… a vow to sustain their way of life.
It’s a promise we cannot afford to break.
